A drinks list for summer
• Stories • No comments
When summer is in full swing and the sun is blazing down, it’s vital to drink plenty, but drinking well is a true luxury!
That may be true… but the usual cocktails are so boring! Original drinks are hard to find, often hard to understand, and most of the time can’t be reproduced at home, because bartenders jealously guard the secret of their ingredients and proportions.
Here at Marolo we wanted to reverse the trend, and with the help of the expert hands of Luigi Barberis, mixologist at the legendary Caffè degli Artisti in Alessandria, propose a drinks list for summer featuring our latest, most versatile product – Vermouth Domenico Ulrich.
These drinks are quick and easy to make with ingredients that can easily be found in the supermarket , because as Barberis himself says, the beauty of a drinks list is not the bartender’s ego, or even his expertise, but the fact that anyone can reproduce it at home, whenever they please.
All you have to do is buy a bottle of Vermouth Domenico Ulrich (there is at least one recipe for each type: Rosso, Bianco, Dry and Rosso Superiore) and unleash your thirst for creativity!
